One agent, four channels: how Loop actually runs your outreach

Loop is a single agent that remembers every conversation across Email, Voice, Instagram, and WhatsApp — and hands you the wheel the moment you want it.

Loop is one agent, not four separate bots bolted together — it runs your outreach across Email, Voice, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and it's the same agent, with the same memory of a person, no matter which channel they reply on.

You set the intent once

It starts with a Loop — you decide who it reaches (the people you enroll), what it's trying to do, and which channels it can use. From there, Loop writes the messages, places the calls, and keeps the thread moving without you sitting in your inbox. Read Creating a Loop if you want the step-by-step, or Welcome to Loop for the full map of the product.

Every conversation lands in one inbox

However a person replies — an email, a call transcript, an Instagram DM, a WhatsApp message — it shows up as one conversation in your Conversations inbox, with a status pill telling you who's currently handling it: Loop is handling or You're handling. Loop shows you a live preview of what it's about to send before it sends it, so you always know what's coming.

Take the wheel whenever you want

Loop handling a conversation doesn't mean you're locked out of it. Click Take control in the thread header and Loop stops immediately — it cancels anything it had scheduled for that person, even messages already queued, and stays paused until you click Hand back to Loop. You can also take control straight from a suggested reply: click Take the wheel & edit and the draft carries into your own composer instead of starting blank. Taking control only affects the one conversation you're looking at; Loop keeps working everywhere else. The full walkthrough is in Taking control of a conversation.

Instagram automations: comments become conversations

Instagram gets its own dedicated section — Automations, in the sidebar below Loops — because so much of the channel starts as public engagement rather than a direct message. Connect your Instagram professional account and Loop can reply automatically to comments, DMs, story replies, and live comments, either from keyword-based rules you set up yourself or by letting Loop's agent handle DMs directly in your own voice. A comment on a reel turns into a DM, and that DM becomes a conversation in the same inbox as everything else. See Instagram Automations for how to connect and set it up.

Why one agent instead of four

Channel-hopping is normal for the people you're reaching — someone might comment on Instagram, then continue by email, then eventually take a call. If each channel ran its own separate bot, that person would be starting over every time. Because Loop is one agent carrying context across all four channels, they don't have to, and neither do you.
